ARENA ROOKIE

Attendances: 0

  1. Be on time, please!
  2. You cannot take anything in, bag and body must be completely empty
  3. All pets must be dead, taos can respawn pets once inside, wizards can store pets using npc in lobby
  4. Once one person starts, nobody else can enter the lobby, so wait for group leader signal to start before going in
  5. There are three platforms, 'top' (top right), 'middle', and 'bottom' (bottom left)
  6. Bosses spawn on each platform, once ALL bosses are dead, the next round of (harder) bosses spawns
  7. The goal is to clear as many rounds as possible within the 2 hour time limit
  8. Always focus on bosses first, forget mobs until bosses are dead (lion roar them or whatever)
  9. HP pots drop from plants around the edges of the map
  10. MP pots drop from trees around the edges of the map
  11. Tao items (poisons, amulets) drop from mushrooms in between the platforms
  12. Every tao gets a free character-bound lifestone on entry, to be used to revive people
  13. Do not kill DemonHorde unless instructed by group leader
  14. Later on in arena everyone bands together in one group, try to stick with the group so you don't get lost
  15. Avoid PMing group leaders, they are usually very busy, questions can be asked on group chat, anyone can answer
  16. Understand this is all about getting the highest score for the guild, that's the ONLY priority!
  17. Books will be collected by leaders and handed out later to anyone who needs them
  18. Any valuable items (sockets etc.) that drop, will be rolled for at the end
  19. Let the most experienced people who have heroic/torch on use the best items, it benefits the group as a whole
  20. Remember to have fun! But also pay attention and read chat carefully for instructions

ARENA NOVICE

Attendances: 5

  1. You will be assigned a platform to stick to, try to be at that platform ready for bosses to spawn each round
  2. Make sure only one of your group runs off to collect pots at a time, so there's always someone there for boss spawn
  3. If you are going to need pots soon, go as soon as your bosses are dead, so you can get back for next spawn
  4. There's a delay in spawns after the first couple of rounds, use this time to collect lots of pots
  5. Be on the lookout for items that you may need, drop items you don't need any more so other people can use them
  6. Don't be wasteful of identification scrolls, they can get scarce later on
  7. Warriors should try to use monofluid only (MP pots) and leave maxifluid for wizards and taoists
  8. You might be given specific instructions by group leaders, follow instructions carefully and ask if it's unclear
  9. Watch the minimap and be careful not to lure anything onto others that they can't handle
  10. Make sure all warriors have paralysis rings, but don't use them until needed

ARENA CHAMPION

Attendances: 10

  1. Pick up smaller pots that drop from mobs and bosses to reduce your reliance on running to trees/plants
  2. Be aware of the names of items that are good for your class, and pick only what you need
  3. Link good items you found that nobody in your platform team can use, if someone wants it they can come get it
  4. Warriors can use pre-prepared pots to boost mana pool and reduce pot usage
  5. Use a torch / heroic pots if you can afford it (don't feel pressured, if you can't you can't)
  6. Understand your platform team and use your character effectively to get the bosses killed as quickly as possible
  7. If bosses are respawning as soon as yours are killed, that means you are the slowest team
  8. If your team is struggling, be specific about the issues in group chat, group leaders will assign help if possible
  9. Taos should ensure their team is always fully buffed
  10. Warriors should be focused on gaining as much speed as possible, it's more important than DC

ARENA LEGEND

Attendances: 15

  1. Be aware of all the items that drop and know what's good and what isn't
  2. Keep a stock of ID scrolls that is sufficient for your own needs, leave the rest for other people
  3. Keep a few RT handy to reduce time spent running for pots / collecting items from other platforms
  4. Understand each bosses strengths and weaknesses and use suitable skills/spells to kill more effectively
  5. If you die, make it clear and ask a specific tao to rev you, or use a rev scroll if you can afford it
  6. Taos be alert for revive requests and make it clear quickly if you are too busy, so another tao can go
  7. Communication is key!! If you spot a problem, make it clear so it can be handled quickly
  8. Use spells/skills effectively to keep kill speed up while minimizing pot usage
  9. Taos be aware of the needs of your team, heal if they need it, attack bosses otherwise. Don't wait for them to ask
  10. Try to let those who are highest level (in heroes league) get the kills on bosses, so that there are better drops

ARENA OVERLORD

Attendances: 20

  1. Should be instinctively aware of the capabilities of your team, lure bosses together to kill faster if appropriate
  2. Be able to act independently and make good decisions to benefit the group
  3. Support those less experienced by showing them where to collect pots and where the bosses are
  4. Split from the main group later in arena only if you are confident it will improve overall clearance time
  5. Open paralysis rings with 4gg scroll from game shop to hopefully get speed 4 on them
  6. Taoists/wizards stand behind warriors with a 1 space gap at push-bosses (loki/STL) so they don't get pushed as far
